Your company’s ideal customer profile is unique, so fine-tune Qualified Signals to provide more actionable insights. Qualified admins can customize how certain factors are weighted in Signals to most accurately reflect your accounts’ buying interest.
Engagement Intent: High & Low-Intent Pages
Not all website visits are created the same; certain pages are stronger indicators of Engagement Intent than others. Pinpoint which pages on your website are more frequently viewed by prospects than a general audience, like your pricing and legal pages. Conversely, specify which ones are less important to prospects, like career or login pages.
When the Engagement Intent is calculated, Signals credits more significance to the High-intent Pages and less to the Low-intent Pages.
To choose your high and low-intent pages:
- Click the Settings icon.
- Under Signals on the left, click Engagement Intent.
- Below High-intent Pages, use the drop-down menu to select contains or equals.
- Enter the page URL on the right.
- (Optional) If you want to add more pages, click the + icon for additional entries.
- Click Save.
- Below Low-intent Pages, repeat steps 3–6.
We recommend adding up to ten high-intent and ten low-intent pages for optimal data integrity.
TIP! You can select contains and enter a UTM parameter, rather than a full page URL. This can be worthwhile, for example, if you know that any visitor with a specific UTM should be valued higher.
Research Intent: Topics
You can choose up to ten topics for Research Intent. We recommend adding the names of competitors or search keywords that frequently drive traffic to your website. You can also review a list of supported topics (XLS 1.2 MB).
To select which topics to monitor:
- Click the Settings icon.
- Under Signals on the left, click Research Intent.
- Enter and select a topic from the search bar. Repeat this for up to ten topics. (If you try to add more than ten topics, an error message will appear. Click the X icon next to a topic to delete it, and then enter the new topic.)
- Click Save in the upper-right corner.
Research Intent will appear in your Account 360 within 24 hours from when you first select topics.
Once you configure the Research Intent topic list, we recommend not modifying it for at least one month. Research Intent is calculated once per week, so it takes time for Qualified to collect and present meaningful data.
