Qualified for Advertising tells you who’s clicking on your paid advertisements. Enable your sales team to outbound more strategically by centralizing information about who’s converting on which ads.
Why Track Ads in Qualified
At Qualified, we believe there’s power in aggregating information to inform a stronger ABM strategy. By tracking your ad clickthroughs in Qualified, reps learn what type of content resonates with their prospects and from which platforms. They can then customize more compelling outbound messages or discuss relevant topics in their next meeting with a prospect.
Your marketing team can also use Qualified for Advertising to analyze ad performance. Within Qualified, they can review and report on which pages visitors viewed after clicking on a specific tracked ad.
How to Track Ads
There are two main options. First, you can connect Qualified with Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads with our integrations. If you prefer to not connect them or want to instead track Facebook ads, you can instead manually add UTM parameters to your ad’s hyperlinks.
TIP! You can also track your outbound emails from Salesloft and Outreach within Qualified.
Trigger Experiences Based on Ad Clickthroughs
Design an Experience that only appears when a specific ad is clicked through. After you integrate with Google Ads or LinkedIn ads and create a supported ad type, build or customize an Experience. When selecting the Experience trigger, select Referrer and then Referring LinkedIn Campaign or Referring Google Campaign:
Then select which campaign will trigger the Experience from the drop-down menu that appears.
View Clickthroughs in Qualified
This varies based on whether you use our integrations’ auto-tracking or you opt for adding UTM parameters manually. With either method, you can see when a clickthrough happened in the Live View and Account 360.
Automatically Tracked with Integration
The tile that appears in the Live View and Account 360 includes the ad’s visual asset:
If you track an Expanded Dynamic Search Ad from Google Ads, the ad's tile will also display which search terms the visitor entered when they were presented with your ad.
If the ad's image doesn't appear, you may need to turn off your ad blocker.
Manually Appended UTMs
This option offers less visibility. Manually adding the UTMs like this only tells you if and when someone clicked on the ad; it does not present an ad’s image in the Visitor 360 or Account 360.
Analyze Clickthrough Data
When an ad is clicked, that event is recorded in session reports and contributes to that account’s Signals Engagement Score.
Reports
When you’re on a session report, you can add the Ad Clickthrough? column. A Yes value here means a clickthrough happened from an automatically or manually tracked ad. Click on the session row to review that conversation and, in turn, view the clickthrough event.
You can also add a filter to only see sessions that began with a clickthrough. When building this filter, select the Has ad clickthrough? option and choose Yes.
Qualified Signals
When an ad is clicked, an icon is added to the timeline on your Account 360. This type of interaction also contributes to an account’s Engagement Score.
