SALESFORCE LAUNCHES CHATTER WORLD’S FIRST ENTERPRISE SOCIAL NETWORK

Kraig and Sean (along with Salesforce execs Brett Queener & Chuck Ganapathi) spearhead the development of Salesforce Chatter, the Enterprise Social Network with social profiles and feeds inside of Enterprise Apps. They go on global roadshow to debut Chatter to customers around the world.

SALESFORCE LAUNCHES THE SALES CLOUD

The success of Service Cloud inspires Salesforce to develop and launch major new cloud, social, and mobile innovations to its flagship Salesforce automation product, and rebrand it as Salesforce Sales Cloud.

SALESFORCE LAUNCHES THE SERVICE CLOUD

Cloud computing gains steam and Marc, Kraig, Dan Darcy, and Alex Dayon launch Salesforce’s second major product, dubbed the “Service Cloud“ in multi-city World Tour.  Salesforce Service Cloud will become the next $1B product line at Salesforce.

WELCOME TO THE CLOUD

As the Salesforce/Google alliance gathers momentum, the duo begins talking about SaaS and PaaS as “Cloud Computing.”  The moniker sticks and Salesforce makes bold move and announces “Welcome to the Cloud” at Dreamforce 2008.

SALESFORCE FOR GOOGLE APPS LAUNCHES

Salesforce and Google announce the “Salesforce/Google Alliance” and launch "Salesforce for Google Apps" at a press conference at the Four Seasons in San Francisco with Marc Benioff, Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Kraig and Sean on stage.

As Google’s advertising empire expands, Salesforce for Google Adwords is announced at an all-hands company event at Google Headquarters.  Kraig, Sean, and Google Founder Sergey Brin show the future of online marketing and how Salesforce and Google will serve B2B customers.

Kraig & Sean become Salesforce employees

Salesforce signs definitive agreement to acquire kieden

Salesforce acquires Kieden in August, 2006.  Kraig and Sean oversee the developing relationship between Salesforce & Google.

KIEDEN LAUNCHES on APPEXCHANGE DAY

Kieden launches on "Salesforce AppExchange Day,” a Salesforce launch event at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Kieden is one of the first 5 apps on Salesforce AppExchange, the world's first enterprise app marketplace.

2005

FOUNDING OF KIEDEN

Kraig & Sean start their first company, Kieden, an advertising platform that integrates Salesforce with Google AdWords. Online advertising spend is skyrocketing, and now B2B companies can measure online advertising ROI with Salesforce. Kieden is built almost entirely on Salesforce’s first generation platform known as “SForce.”

Shortly after rolling out Salesforce at an early SaaS pioneer, Kraig and Sean attend the first-ever Dreamforce conference at Westin St. Francis hotel in downtown San Francisco. Their eyes are opened to the potential of using Salesforce as a development platform for their first venture.
