Automatically track clickthroughs from your G2 profile to highlight high-priority visitors. You can then serve tailored Experiences and alert sales reps to have a relevant conversation referencing their G2 visit.
Why Track G2 in Qualified
Qualified helps you know which visitors to focus on, and data shows that G2 clickthrough visitors are worthy of your sales reps’ attention. G2 visits and clickthroughs suggest a high intent to purchase. Supporting this idea, we also find that visitors who arrive from G2 are more likely to engage in live chat.
By tracking clickthroughs from your own G2 profile, you can automatically notify your sales team when these high-value prospects arrive on your website. Grow your pipeline, efficiently.
How to Track G2 Clickthroughs
Connect with your Qualified Success Architect (QSA) to enable G2 clickthrough tracking in your Qualified account. That’s it!
Once your QSA updates your account, Qualified automatically recognizes when visitors arrive from your G2 profile. No extra steps are needed; you don’t need to log in to your G2 account or update the links on your G2 company page.
Create Segments for Live Streams, Routing, & Experiences
We recommend creating a segment dedicated to G2. To build it, select Has G2 Clickthrough in the segment criteria:
Using the new segment, you can prioritize these visitors’ time on your website in a few ways:
- Add your G2 segment to a high-priority Live Stream.
- Update or create a new routing rule to send visitors from G2 to the specific sales reps.
- Trigger an Experience when a visitor from your new G2 segment arrives.
- Notify your sales reps’ with a Send Alert Experience step so they can pounce promptly
TIP! You can present an Experience to people who arrive via a G2 clickthrough without creating a segment. When building the Experience trigger, select Has G2 Clickthrough.
Review G2 Clickthroughs in Qualified
Qualified surfaces when a specific visitor or account clicks from your G2 profile and arrives on your website.
Discover G2 Clickthroughs in the Live View & Signals
You can see when a G2 clickthrough happened in the Live View and Signals Account 360. A card appears with the date and time:
The Visitor 360 displays this card only once per session and at the end of that session. In contrast, the Signals Account 360 includes the clickthrough card every time someone associated with that account clicks through from G2.
Analyze G2 Clickthroughs in Reports
You can also create a session report and apply a filter to only include sessions that included a G2 clickthrough:
- Click Add Filter.
- From the first drop-down menu, select Has G2 Clickthrough?
- Leave the next drop-down menus on their default options: is and Yes.
- Click Apply.
When reviewing a session report, you can also add a G2 Clickthrough? column. A Yes value here means the session began when the visitor was on your G2 profile and clicked a link to your website. Click on that session’s row to review the conversation and, in turn, learn when the clickthrough occurred.
