Sights to see

Lombard Street

The “Crookedest Street in the World” is iconic for a reason. The hills in San Francisco are no joke, and Lombard Street took the danger to new heights–that’s why in the 1920s, a property owner nearby suggested building the series of switchbacks it’s now known for. Once you check it out, you’re not far from Chinatown, North Beach, and Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s the perfect way to pack in the sights

‍Golden Gate Park

1,107 acres of timeless San Francisco attractions and natural beauty, Golden Gate Park is the perfect stop to really get a feel for what the city has to offer. There are gardens, playgrounds, lakes, and trails to get some fresh air, as well as a ton of significant monuments and cultural events. 

‍Union Square

If you’re looking for some shopping, or want to peruse art galleries, and maybe grab something to eat, Union Square is one of the largest collections of retail destinations on the West Coast.

Rintaro

Michelin recommended since 2016, Rintaro is the perfect blend of Japanese and California cuisine by culinary legend Sylvan Mishima Brackett. If you’re looking for locally sourced ingredients and made from scratch traditional Japanese dishes, this izakaya will blow you away with incredible tastes and details that make for a memorable experience.    

‍Good Good Culture Club

Not only is Good Good Culture Club serving up family-style dishes from across the Asian diaspora, but they’re also rethinking what the restaurant industry should look like. Chef Ravi Kapur and partner Jeff Hanak are focused on creating a space that’s much more collaborative than the typical top-down management style of most restaurants. Check out the Ohana Menu, offering larger groups a prix fixe meal sampling all of their hits–what’s more Dreamforce than that?

‍La Taqueria

San Francisco’s most famous burrito spot, more lovingly known as La Taq, lives up to the hype. Located in the Mission district, this is the birthplace of the Mission-style burrito. The Mexican restaurant has been a San Francisco mainstay since the early seventies, check out some fan fave combinations before you visit.  

‍The Progress

Located inside The Progress Theatre, first opened in 1911, The Progress dining experience showcases New American cuisine in family-style dishes, designed by husband and wife duo Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski. Enjoy award-winning dishes like the local halibut crudo, lamb tartare, or caviar potato cloud, all while taking in the historic building’s amazing details. 

Where to fuel up

Philz

A San Francisco classic, Philz was founded on the idea that coffee should be love in a cup. Every order is freshly-ground just for you–we can’t think of a better way to kick off your action-packed Dreamforce days. 

Andytown

Andytown was created to feel like your grandma’s kitchen–clean, cozy, welcoming, and warm. Enjoy their signature drink, a Snowy Plover–Pelligrino, two shots of espresso, and a big dollop of lightly sweetened cream. 

Sightglass Coffee

What started as a mission to source, produce, and share quality-focused coffee from a small cart in SoMa, has blossomed into a full-blown coffee roastery and community gathering space. Visit their company HQ in SoMa or their Mission district location for specialty coffees sourced all over the world. 

Mazarine

Inspired by the first public Parisian library of the same name, Mazarine strives to offer Market Street an artfully assembled collection of fine coffee and light fare. If you like something a little sweet with your coffee, the Mazarine Waffle has become a staple offering. 

Where to wind down

Trick Dog

Trick Dog is known for its wild and convoluted menus that give patrons much to ponder as they enjoy craft cocktails and food like the Trick Dog, which is actually a burger on a long bun. They’ve recently launched their In Good Spirits menu, which is “one part poetry anthology, two parts cocktail menu.” 

‍ABV

Featuring creative but approachable drink menus, ABV offers award-winning cocktails, small plates, and a bright and casual atmosphere. If you’re into local beers, they have plenty of fantastic options on tap. 

‍True Laurel

With daily menus, True Laurel’s cocktail offering is unique and not to be missed. Seasonally inspired, these cocktails are best sipped slowly, the perfect way to unwind after a long day on your feet. 

‍Zeitgeist

Founded in 1977, Zeitgeist is a historic bar and beer garden known for its Bloody Marys, margaritas, and 64 craft beer taps. It’s also one of the few bars in San Francisco with outdoor seating, offering a great spot to get some fresh air while you relax.
