Jane Hynes is the Vice President of Google Cloud Comms where she leads the Internal and External Comms teams. Prior to joining Google, Jane spent more than 14 years at Salesforce where she led the company's communications strategy from its days as a start-up, through its IPO, to the Fortune 500 company it is today. Jane's counsel and communications strategy were integral to establishing cloud computing in the enterprise software industry.
During her tenure, Hynes has received many accolades including PRWeek Small Corporate Communications Team of the Year in 2005 and being named to the PRWeek 40 under 40 list in 2010. In addition, she was named a Holmes Report In2’s Innovator 25 in 2013. Hynes also led the team when it was awarded one of the Best Places to Work in US PR in 2014 by PRWeek.
Hynes also previously held PR roles at OutCast Communications and Hamilton Ink. She received a bachelor's degree in Biology from Santa Clara University. Outside of work, Jane enjoys traveling the world with her family and cooking (Tagines are a specialty).
